We must better address the needs of the permanent population and grow a healthy, vibrant community. Peter’s Plan of Action includes: 

• Develop a compelling plan to attract permanent, year-round businesses to build/expand in Muskoka, supplemented by a robust outreach program to businesses who have not yet considered Muskoka 
• Promote the development of attainable housing to address the long-standing, chronic shortage in availability of accommodation appropriate for permanent residents
• Ensure availability of reliable, high-speed internet connectivity for all 
• Create the conditions conducive to success for local businesses 
• Ensure the Township’s publicly accessible infrastructure supports the needs of permanent residents – i.e. community centres, arenas, parks and trails, beaches, docks and ramps
• Support the development of community service agencies, youth and seniors’ programs and organized athletic activities
